Uckfield FM became Ashdown Radio in April 2022. Ashdown Radio broadcast from their studios in Uckfield to towns and villages across East Sussex, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Chiddfest Music Festival is 3 unmissable days of live music, family fun, and community spirit. What started as a small local event of fewer than 500 people has grown into one of the county’s most loved festivals, now welcoming over 3,500 festival-goers each year.
Chiddfest unites the community to party with purpose, proudly supporting St Wilfrid’s Hospice.

We love the Chiddfest weekend at St Wilfrid’s! It’s a regular fixture in our calendar that we all look forward to, and we are grateful to Mark Thomas and his family for their continued support. We’ll be back in 2026 with our volunteers, our collection buckets, and our stall of vintage and pre-loved festival themed goodies. We’re always happy to chat about what we do and how people can support us, do pop over and say hello!
